About Us

Craig Solin, Photography: A nature and wildlife photographer, Craig Solin has spent the past 40 years capturing the essence of beauty.  Born and raised in Northern California he has spent countless hours in the Marin and Sonoma hills studying the change of seasons in a way that most people never see.  Craig has traveled all over the western United States and has tried to capture images that might have been seen by Lewis and Clark and the Native Indians before industrialization.  After a brief few years in Montana's beautiful Flathead Valley, we are back in Northern California.

Craig is a retired Ranger for and has dedicated his life to protecting wildlife and its habitat.  Craig has been published in many calendars and in numerous books and his work has been commissioned for calendars wildlife and nature. 

Erin Solin Beaded Spiders, Felted Critters and Handmade Cards:  Not everything in life happens the way the spider journey started.  After years of making cards there was a darker side that needed to find a way out and thus the spider journey began.  I have always loved spiders and when the war in Ukraine started it all just clicked.  Every spider we sell we donate 50% of that sale to World Central Kitchen and as of end of 2025 we have donated well over $3,000 to help feed people around the world.  The card journey was started because we felt that there was a huge hole in the veterinary industry when it came to sympathy cards. We started by providing local veterinarians with cards that they could give their clients at a hard point in their lives to let them know that they were not alone. We have grown our inventory to include holiday and celebratory occasions now, but the mission and the focus are still the same. We hand make each and every card and they are labor intensive but we feel that they are worth every penny.
